Jeremie Zumer

CEO, Founder

Jeremie earned a PhD in bioinformatics at the Institute for Research in Immunology and Cancerology in Montreal, Canada. Prior to this, he pursued a MSc in deep learning in the world-renowned MILA lab lead by Turing award laureate Yoshua Bengio.

Jeremie has worked as a scientist at Microsoft Research and in several startups at various development stages. He is passionate about the promises of modern technology advances within the field of biology, especially when applied in a truly cross-functional context, at the cutting edge of computational sciences and biotechnology.

Co-founder, COO

Sumi brings a rare mix of tech savvy, artistic vision and people skills to Yta Labs. Armed with an MSc in Computer Science, solid experience from both startups and industry leading companies in design and IT roles, and a unique knack for solving problems before they happen, she brings a deep passion for creating positive change. She is excited to contribute her skills and experience to help unlock the full potential of our team and drive our mission.
